I like to work with comics in different forms: Shorter comics in various "alternative" styles (Excreta etc.); more traditional albums (The Dimensional Detective); an interactive comic on cdrom (The Angel); and even strips for commercial products. I've also been assisting Peter Snejbjerg on various DC Comics titles.
The
comic series "The Dimensional Detective" is a unique blend of science
fiction, social satire and hardboiled detective story. Clement, a private
eye, and his faithful assistant Pippi are hurled into a strange parallel dimension
where Clement has to solve a crime where he himself is both murderer and victim.
In the sequels new crimes in new dimensions must be solved. In 1991 author
(Niels Sondergaard) and artist received the Ping award for the series.

Whenever there's some free time inbetween illustration jobs I immediately turn to writing and drawing comics. Mostly it's shorter stories, drawn in different styles as I enjoy variation. Seven stories dealing with bodily fluids are collected in "Excreta" published in English by Slab-O-Concrete. Other stories have seen print in various anthologies and magazines such as Fahrenheit, Panel, Zone 5300, Stripburger etc. Samples of styles can be found in the gallery and two stories, "Look!" and "It's a Long Way" can be read in full length (Click on the thumbnails).
