I like to work with comics in different forms: Shorter stories in various "alternative" styles, collected in the books Excreta, Cake and The Cartoonist's Arm; more traditional albums (The Dimensional Detective); an interactive comic on cdrom (The Angel); and comic strips for magazines and commercial products. I've also been assisting Peter Snejbjerg on various DC Comics titles. Presently I'm working on a comic book called Earthling Andy. Non-Danish

I've
been a full-time illustrator since 1997, but I've been drawing comics,
children's books and working with animation for more than 30 years.
I draw storyboards, koncept art, presentations, logos, posters, illustrations

The Dimension Detective is published by Carlsen og Cobolt. Collections of my short stories have been published by Fahrenheit and Arboris and BeeDee and have been printed individually in Stripburger (Slovenia), C'est Bon (Sweden), Zone 5300 (Netherlands), Panel (Germany), Bries (Belgium), Aben Maler (Denmark) etc. Author of the interactive CDROM comic "The Angel" is Michael Valeur.
I work at 'Gimle', the oldest and largest comic studio in Denmark. Among my colleagues are Palle Scmidt, who has a blog; Anders Brønserud, who draws the pantomime series 'Otto'; and Peter Snejbjerg, who I have assisted on several DC titles.

read online in English (see below). The fourth album in the series was published
in 2010.

In the fourth part of the series kitsch meets communism. Clement and Pippi find themselves in a Copenhagen where bad taste rules, but also meet old aquaintances from "Mayday Mystery": Communist colonel Adrian Kold, surviving tachyon scientist-Clement and Nadia, femme fatale and ex-wife of Clement.
The book is published by Cobolt april
2010.

"THE ANGEL" (CROSSTOWN #2) is an interactive comic on CDROM. The script is written by Michael Valeur and the game directed by Simon Løvind. In the game the player follows and controls two characters through a spherical city,"Crosstown". Fred, a male nurse, and Norman, an autistic patient, are on their way to a clinic in the other end of town, but things don't go as planned.

"Earthling Andy" is the working title of a new comic I'm working on. The story desribes how two aliens from space spend a lively and eventful evening in the small town of Tuchola. The story is drawn in "hard" black and white and is unlike any of my previous stories. |
